AVIATION-OPENAIR

OpenAIR is a business system that plans and controls Aircraft Maintenance activity for in-house or third-party maintenance providers. OpenAIR is designed to improve the productivity of your maintenance organisation through improved management of your check plan, check induction, inspection, evaluation, rectification, release and post-check analysis.

OpenAIR has been implemented for large airlines such as British Airways, Continental Airlines, FedEx and Singapore Airlines as well as major third party maintenance providers such as FLS Aerospace.

With real-time check status and progress information provided to your mechanics, production controllers, material controllers and planning staff, every employee is knowledge empowered to support their role in reducing maintenance downtime, without compromising safety.

OpenAIR’s open architecture enables easy integration with your existing ERP, HR, Tech Records, Planning and Finance systems. OpenAIR is a truly open system, based on Java, it can be deployed on Windows or Unix and Oracle or SQL Server. As a totally scaleable solution, OpenAIR is applicable to every maintenance provider – there is no limit to the number of lines and facilities that can be managed.

OpenAIR’s Pre-Check Planning covers work package creation, auto creation of access panels, material pre-loading, check-flow optimisation and multiple work card printing options. OpenAIR provides Gantt chart management of check sequencing and facilities resourcing.

OpenAIR’s In Check Management provides easy barcode based time recording, individual task tracking, real-time monitoring of actuals vs estimates, easy non-routine findings recording, intelligent non-routine evaluation, material requests and tracking.

OpenAIR’s Post-Check Analysis allows for task and check average, best case and worst case tracking, total cost management by task, zone, check, full non-routine monitoring and fleet maintenance analysis.

Cambridge Online authors and develops OpenAIR. We employ a dedicated team of specialist consultants, developers and support staff who have a wealth of experience and knowledge concerning the processes and procedures involved with Aircraft Maintenance.
