HP BladeSystem Technology Update - 20th September 2007

Cambridge, September 2007

What benefits does a blade environment offer compared to rack mount infrastructures, and how should it influence your IT systems planning?

Cambridge Online has organised a HP BladeSystem update on the morning of Thursday 20th September at its Cambridge Science Park headquarters, to offer you the opportunity to discover and see the innovative, modular HP c-Class infrastructure and its management.

The half day event for a small group of technology decision makers will look at both High Performance Computing and Enterprise System use of the HP c-Class BladeSystem, which has a range of modular blade components including multi-core x86 (Intel or AMD) or Intel Itanium based servers, blade storage, and multiple I/O slot support for Fibre Channel, Ethernet or Infiniband. Planned speakers include technical specialist Terry Young, and blade specialist Peter Mansell of HP.

The c7000 enclosure along with the blade and modular components have been designed from first principles to give a 21st Century computing solution which is cost effective to own, easy to manage and scalable. The modular power and cooling together with thermal logic technologies is typical of the innovative design approach by HP, and has led them to take No. 1 position in 2006 for worldwide blade server units shipped according to IDC.

The readers of Supercomputing Online were certainly convinced about the HP c-Class BladeSystem when they easily voted it in to first place as the 2007 Product of the Year. To find out more about the HP c-Class BladeSystem www.hp.com/go/bladesystem , to see it, and to discuss with experts where it might fit in your IT strategy, book now for one of the limited number of places at the update and the chance to be included in the draw for HP branded items.

The update and lunch is at Cambridge Online on the morning of Thursday 20th September. Click here to Register.
