Cambridge Online appointed as Red Hat Advanced PartnerRed Hat, the world's leading provider of open source solutions to the enterprise, announced in January 2005 that Cambridge Online Systems Limited had become an Advanced Partner. To qualify as a Red Hat Advanced Partner, Cambridge Online demonstrated that is has the necessary Linux expertise and Red Hat Certified Engineers (RHCEs). As a Red Hat Advanced Partner, Cambridge Online can provide Linux solutions that are entirely independent of proprietary technologies and will have access to Red Hat's portfolio of Open Source software and services for its customers throughout the UK. "Cambridge Online is a particularly exciting win for us. With a highly technical skill set and experience within the High Performance Computing (HPC) environment we expect Cambridge Online to add value by providing an end-to-end solution that encompasses the infrastructure design, implementation and support services", said Hitesh Patel, Business Partner Manager UK and Ireland, Red Hat.
